Payment, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy

Welcome to Clinique Silhouette. Below, we have outlined our policies regarding payment for medical services, cancellation, and no-show appointments. These policies are designed to ensure clarity and fairness for all parties and to optimize the management of our schedule for the benefit of all patients.

Payment Policy

Quebec Patients
Clinique Silhouette is a non-participant of the Régie d’Assurance Maladie (RAMQ). In accordance with the Loi sur l’Assurance Maladie (L.R.Q. c. A-29), fees for services at our clinic are not reimbursable by RAMQ. Patients are required to pay out-of-pocket.

Patients from Other Provinces and International Locations
Patients from all other Canadian provinces, as well as international patients, are also required to pay out-of-pocket for services. Clinique Silhouette does not participate in provincial health insurance programs, and fees are not reimbursable.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

We value the time of all our patients and medical professionals. Our cancellation and no-show policy ensures efficient scheduling and allows other patients the opportunity to access timely care.

• Consultation Appointments with Dr. Levy: Please notify us at least one business day in advance if you wish to cancel or reschedule your consultation. For cancellations made less than one business day before the appointment or in the event of a no-show, the consultation fee is non-refundable.
• Gastric Balloon Procedure with Dr. Levy: A 50% refundable deposit is required to secure your procedure. If you cancel less than two weeks before the scheduled date, $1,000 will be retained to cover the costs associated with reserving the procedure room, scheduling medical staff, and preparing the necessary radiology equipment. The remaining balance will be refunded. For cancellations made more than two weeks in advance, the full deposit will be refunded.
